Michael Heath Mize, 41, of Bruce passed from this life on December 10, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. Born on December 14, 1978 in Memphis, Tennessee, Michael was a son to Michael Laderle Mize and June Swanson Mize.
Michael, a sports fanatic, found joy and satisfaction watching a vast array of athletic events. However, his favorite sport was wrestling where he hoped to watch a good match. Michael was a child of God
Michael leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; parents, Michael Laderle Mize and June Swanson Mize; one brother, Hunter Maston Mize of Oxford; one sister, Heather (Austin) McGreger of Calhoun City; maternal grandmother, Wilma Swanson of Bruce; two nephews: Sam Michael McGreger of Calhoun City; Jackson Mize McGreger of Calhoun City; one niece, Tara June McGreger of Calhoun City.
Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laderle Mize and Lola Hankins Mize; maternal grandfather, Willie A. Swanson.
The Graveside service celebrating Michael’s life will take place at 3:00PM in Collums Cemetery with Bro. Bo Perrin officiating.
