Ms. Nichol Howell, 42, transitioned on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on June 22, 1978 in Flint, MI, to the late Etheleen Howell and Dwayne Howell.
Nicole accepted Christ at an early age at Gospel Temple of Flint, MI. She attended Flint Community Schools in her younger years and later furthered her education in the Itawamba County School District in Fulton, MS. Nicole loved spending time with family and friends, talking on the phone, singing, shopping and watching movies.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories two sons: Steve Howell and Dewaughn Howell of Doresy, MS, her father; Dwayne Howell, two brothers: Dwayne Howell ll and Walter (Aquarium) Howell of Jackson, MS, nieces; Nazaria Howell and Melody Clark and Chayce Clark of Jackson, MS, uncles; Charles (Beatrice) Hinkle of Flint, MI, Gary (Stacie) Christian of New Albany, MS, James Hinkle of Flint, MI, aunts; Pearlie Traylor, Theresa Hinkle and Melba Hinkle all of Flint, MI, Ruby Hinkle of St. Louis, MO, Deborah Jones of New Albany, MS and a special friend; Steve Chandler of Dorsey, MS. A host of cousins, friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Etheleen Howell, grandparents; Mildred and Charles Christian, aunts; Barbara Williams and Margie Henry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 3-6p.m., at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in New Albany. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
