Celebration of Life Service for Christopher Shane Carpenter, 51, are set for 2:00 pm Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating and Paul Joyner doing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 to service time. Masks and social guide lines will be in place.

Shane died December 21, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born April 5, 1969 in Tupelo, MS to Tommy and Bobbie Carpenter. He was a 1988 graduate of Baldwyn High School. He was owner of Carpenter and Associates Insurance Co. in Corinth. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Shane was an avid MS State and Dallas Cowboy fan, he enjoyed golfing, grilling, and spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Carpenter; maternal grandparents, Guy and Josephine Repult; and paternal grandparents, Boyd and Annie Ruth Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife Kim Bolton Carpenter; son, Guy Carpenter; mother, Bobbie Carpenter; brothers, Tim Carpenter (Renee), Bart Carpenter (Linda), David Carpenter, Brian Carpenter (Paula); sisters, Beverly Harmon, Pam Bates, Janet Swindle (Robert); and host of nieces, nephew’s family and friends.

Pallbearers: Andy Null, Rob Brown, Lew Johnson, Paul Joyner, Dale Hughes, and Robert White Sr.
