Tommy Gale Petty (66) passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home in Booneville. He was a member of the Holiness Church of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, camping, making people laugh, attending church and spending time with his family and friends.
Graveside services are 1 pm Monday, December 28, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Melvin Harrison officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Veda Petty of Booneville; his daughters, Tabitha Smith (David) of Booneville, Cherish Prater (Justin) of Booneville and Angel King (Matt) of Corinth; his sister, Carolyn Stevens (Kenneth) of Booneville; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Mary Petty; his son, Jason Petty and his brother, Dale Petty.

Dear Petty family, you have my deepest sympathy. The death of a loved one brings great pain and sorrow but you can gain comfort. In Gods word the Bible it says at Acts 24:15 “There is going to be a resurrection” so you can see your dear loved one again and this is a promise from our loving Heavenly Father. I hope this brings you a measure of comfort in this difficult time.
