Funeral service for Daisy Melinda Ozbirn, 62, are set for 1:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Burial in Magnolia Gardens. Family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 to service time. Masks and social distancing guide lines will be in place.

Daisy died December 29, 2020 at MS Care Center. She was born July 22, 1958 to Charlie and Irene Ozbirn. She was a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. She was a former garment factory worker, having worked at Magnolia Hosiery Mill. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Ozbirn; maternal grandparents, Golden and Daisy Cantrell; and paternal grandparents, Grady and Emily Ozbirn.

She is survived by her mother, Irene Ozbirn; brother, Darnell Ozbirn (Donna); nephew, Daniel Ozbirn; aunts, Dorothy Daniels, Ruth Harris, an uncle, Calvin Ozbirn; and host of other family and friends.
