PONTOTOC – Jeanette Walker, 64, passed away suddenly at her home, Tuesday, December 29, 2020.  She was a lifelong christian.  She was retired nurse from NMMC after 35 years where she built many lifelong friendships.  She also had a profound love for all of her dogs she cared for through the years.  In her spare time she shared many laughs and memories with friends and family. She was known for her sarcasm and quick wit.

Jeanette is survived by her brother, Donnie Walker; sister, Deloris Jenkins; nephew, Ray Walker(Tammy) and Randy Walker(Tabitha); niece, Angela Russell(Chris); and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Walker; mother, Mag Walker; sister, Mary Nell Walker; sister-in-law, Florine Walker; and partner, Tommy Parker.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Jody Rock officiating.

Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ray Walker, Randy Walker, Chris Russell, David Ward, Alex Russell, Jim Pine, and Parker Chain.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 2nd, 12PM until service time.

  1. Dear Walker family, you have my deepest sympathy. The death of a loved one brings great pain and sorrow but you can gain comfort from Gods word the Bible. We read at Acts 24:15 “There is going to be a resurrection” this is a promise from our loving Heavenly Father. So you can see your dear loved one again. I hope this was a source of encouragement for the family.
