PONTOTOC – William "Buddy" Esten Gordon, 77, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County. He was a true man of God and loved life to the fullest. Bro. Buddy loved each one he met and was in his life daily. He loved working, trading, and fishing especially with his wife, Reggie. He loved God first and his wife Reggie second. He was a faithful husband, father, brother, pastor, and friend.
Bro. Buddy is survived by his wife, Reggie Gordon; his children, Brenda Lepard(Keith), Paula Mitchell(Jeff), Anthony Gordon(Peggy), Jackie Gordon(Laura), Eddie Gordon(Cindy), and Will Gordon(Jennifer); his stepchildren, Angel Williams, Keith Williams(Dawn), and Billy Joe Staten; 21 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobby Roxann Gordon; and his parents, Roy E. Gordon and Myrtis McCain Gordon.
Services will be held for family only at Bethel Cemetery due to health concerns.
Pallbearers will be Blake, Curry, David, Joey, Tanner, Jessie, and Daniel.
