Amy Fowler Kinsey, age 59, of Cohutta, GA, formerly of West Point, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA.

Amy was a dedicated registered nurse with Hamilton Health Care System and recently worked at Wood Dale Health Care and Quinton Memorial. She gave her life fighting on the front line of the Covid crisis.

She is survived by her two daughters, April and Austin Gardner of Chattanooga and Lauren Kinsey (Zach Kirby) of Ocala, FL; mother, Maudine Fowler of West Point; sisters, Cathy and Joseph Kelley of Oklahoma and Linda Fowler of Blue Springs; father of her children, Mark Kinsey of Lafayette, TN; nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home in Dalton, GA, with Mike Dykes officiating and prayer by Dale Lawhorne. The service can be viewed on the website at julianpeeples.com

She was preceded in death by father, James Fowler.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 until 4:00 pm.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point, MS, with burial to follow.
