Bonnie Ann Douglas Caldwell, 65, died on January 13, 2021, at her home in Batesville, MS.  A Graveside service will be held at Forrest Memorial Cemetery on January 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Fudd Floyd officiating. Waller Family Funeral Home in Oxford, MS will be in charge of the arrangements.

Bonnie was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. She enjoyed cooking and saw her ministry as cooking for the church and her community of friends when they were sick or in time of need. She served in the United States Navy as a Reserve E5 and was a retired security officer with FedEx.  She formerly worked as a reserve officer for fifteen years with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department and was a former Security Guard at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Easton “Jimmy” Caldwell of Oxford, MS, daughter, Mary Ann Grisham of Memphis, TN, a son, Mark Thomas Caldwell and his wife, Amy of Valrico, FL; a sister, Joyce Douglas of Newport, RI; a step brother, Jayme Boretti, and preceded by a brother, James Douglass. She was also survived by her four grandchildren, Mary Lovato, Daniel Caldwell, Summer Caldwell and Trey Ruff, and a great granddaughter, Wendy Lovato.

  2. So very sorry for your loss Jimmy. We don’t mourn as those with out hope, yet we do mourn the physical separation. Bonnie will live forever in your heart and memories. Praying for you and all your family. May each of you feel God’s comforting arms enfoldng you and all the prayers on your behalf.
