PONTOTOC – Jonathan Earl Nichols, 28, passed away January 13, 2021 at his home in Pontotoc. Jonathan Nichols was born on July 11, 1992. He attended Pontotoc City Schools until his tenth grade year and then earned his GED through the Pontotoc City Schools. Johnathan was funny, smart, outgoing, and had a bubbly personality. He loved spending time with family and friends, video games, and skating. He had a good heart and was loved by everyone and will never be forgotten. He was a big dreamer and wanted the bigger things in life. He was a good friend to anyone he met.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Brenda Nichols; grandfather, Gary Griffin; grandmother, Barbara Griffin; sisters, Shana Nichols and Alexis Nichols; brother-in-law, Michael Bailey; nephew, Kameron Tate Sisk; nieces, Sophia Bailey and Harlee Grayse Bailey; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Boyd and Melba Griffin and Lathan and Corrin McGregor.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2PM at Guinn Cemetery with Pastor Tory Naugle officiating.
