West Point, MS – Phillip Dale Brewer, 61, passed away on January 15, 2021 at at his residence in West Point. He was born September 6, 1959 in West Point to the late Evelyn Prescott and Laymon Dale Brewer. He was a truck driver for many years. Phil was a veteran of the Navy and Army. He loved his family dearly and was a loyal Ole Miss fan. He believed in freedom and was considered by some to be a dreamer. He was a graduate of West Point High School and a former Little League baseball coach.
There are no funeral services scheduled at this time. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Brewer of St. Charles, IL, his four sons, Brad Brewer of South Elgin, IL, Colt Brewer of Albuquerque, NM, Magnum Brewer of Vado, NM, Luke Brewer of West Point and by his sister Vicki McIlwain of Cedar Bluff. He was a proud grandfather of 6 beautiful grandchildren.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, L.D. and Evelyn Brewer.
