Forrest H. "Bollweevil" Stacks (81) passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home in Saltillo. He was born on July 22, 1939 to the late Robert Homer Clay and Flossie Ann Strickland Stacks. He was a founding member of Springhill Baptist Church in Saltillo. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, was a Baptist preacher and a retired truck driver. Forrest loved to worship God, share his faith with everyone and to sing. He liked to share stories of life experiences and tell jokes. He will be greatly missed.

Forrest is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Bass Stacks of Saltillo; his children, Kimberly Miles (Michael) of Horn Lake, Timothy Stacks of Saltillo, Christopher Stacks (Rachel) of Saltillo, Tracy Darnell (Christopher) of Tupelo and Lexi Stacks (Javarion Estes) of Saltillo; his sister, Earnestine Stacks White of Heber Springs, AR; 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and many close friends and family.

Services are 1 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Springhill Baptist Church with Rev. William Bass officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 and will take place until service time on Monday at 1 pm at Springhill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Campbelltown Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, James Cecil and Mary Catherine McCollum Bass; his grandchildren, Jaqueline Stacks and Kevin Stacks; his brother, Raymond Gerald Stacks and his sisters, Earline Stacks Epperson and Freda Stacks Carter.

Pallbearers are; Brian Stacks, Christopher Miles, Cody Ratliff, Peyton Stacks, Michael Stacks and Lonnie Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers are; T.J. Taylor and Mason Darnell.
