Memorial services for Matthew Justin Childers, 42, will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lancaster officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 pm until service time. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Justin died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 23, 1978 in Corinth, MS. He was of the Christian faith, enjoyed playing guitar, making knifes and loved being with his children.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Doris Barnes, Sikes and Richard Olen Mercer, Elmer and Kitty Pearl Childers and a special cousin Wensdae Walker.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Childers, Matthew Childers, Peyton Childers, Presley Fooshee; parents, Donna Lee (Tim), Mike Childers (Debbie); brothers, Jay Childers (Lisa), Jake Childers (Courtany); sister, Shelley Childers; a niece, Caroline Catalaya; nephews, James Childers, Hayden, Hank, Jacob; aunts, Barbara Rye and Dot Melancon; uncles, Marty Childers (Carla), Rick Mercer (Teresa); a special friend Nathan Knight; and several cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Woodruff and Sam Wallis and honorary pallbearers will Nathan Knight, Jay Childers, Marty Childers and Merritt Childers.
