Curtis Gordon, 79, passed away on December 30, 2020, at Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City, MS.

Curtis Gordon was born on October 16, 1941 in Marks, MS, to Odes Gordon and Ruby Robertson Gordon.
Curtis started his career as a Machinist and went on to work for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.

Curtis married Sue Gordon the couple had 4 children, Angela Gordon, of Vicksburg, Chris (Caroline) Ratliff, of Raymond, Michael Gordon, of Vicksburg.

Curtis was best known for hunting deer and going to South Africa for safari hunts. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a Mason and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Curtis also served in the Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant

Curtis is survived by Sue Gordon – wife, of Calhoun City, Angela Gordon – daughter, of Vicksburg, Chris (Caroline) Ratliff – son, of Raymond, Michael Gordon – son, of Vicksburg, Brandi (Jake) Hamilton – grandchild, of Lexington, Anna Gordon – grandchild, of Brandon, Bryan (Scott) Ratliff – grandchild, of Raymond, Megan Gordon – grandchild, of Vicksburg, Katie Gordon – grandchild, of Vicksburg, Grace James – grandchild, of Vicksburg.

Curtis is preceded in death by  Odes Gordon – father, Ruby Gordon – mother, Maurice Wills – sister, Carol Smith – sister, Curtis Lee Gordon – son

The memorial service will be held on a later date to be announced in the future.
