Inis Hall Roane, age 102, passed away on January 30, 2021, at Bruce Community Living Center.

Inis was born on November, 3, 1918, to the late Robert Lee Hall and Birdie Mae Lee Hall of Bruce. She was married to Elton Whitt Roane.

Inis was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church. She began her career at Glenn Slacks (DSL) where she never missed a day of work. When she wasn't at work Ms. Inis could be found in her yard and garden. Flowers and gardening brought her much joy and she often gave away the fruits and vegatables she had harvested.

Inis is survived by daughter Deborah Jan Roane of Bruce, MS; daughter-in-law Brenda (James) Weeks, of Bruce, MS; sister Elsie Mize, of Bruce, MS; sister-in-law Grace Hall, of Bruce, MS; brother Billy (Lou) Hall, of Bruce, MS: grandchildren: Dr. Lisa (Buck) Langford, Ginger (Clint) Dishman, and Brandy (Jonathan) Russell; great grandchildren: Dr. Jaslyn (Cameron) Paschal, Mary Mason Langford, Conley Langford, Landry Dishman, and Easton Dishman.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elton Roane; her parents Robert and Birdie Hall; son E. W. Roane, Jr.; sisters: Laudis (Wesson) Roane and Cuvis (Moody) Tyler; brother Bobby Hall, and brother-in-law Ezzie Lee Mize.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Inis Roane will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Antioch Cemetery. Brenda Roane Weeks will be leading a tribute and eulogy to Ms. Inis.

Memorials may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
