PONTOTOC – Danny Ray Lindsey, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2021 at his home in Pontotoc. Danny was raised in Drew, MS and Clarksdale, MS. He was the only child of Mandy J. Washington and James Franklin Lindsey.
Danny is survived by his daughters, Amber K. Lee and Whitney A. Bowen; his mother, Mandy Washington; stepfather, James "Jimmy" Washington; uncle, Billy Ray Lindsey, Memphis, TN; aunts, Betty Sue Tiller and Isabel Hudson; and stepchildren, Nicole Day, James Garcia, Olivia Garcia, and Wayne Rybolt; and 9 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Lindsey; and his grandparents, Fred and Minnie Lindsey and C.H. and Lula Hampton.
Service will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Steve Phillips officiating. Visitation will begin at 9AM and continue until service time. Burial will follow in Black Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Bowen II, Jamison Lee, James Garcia, and Greg Nichols.

Dear Lindsey family, the death of a loved one can be hard to bear but you are not alone. In Gods word the Bible it says 1 Corinthians 1:3,4 “The Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, comforts us in all our trials”. You can have a measure of comfort during this difficult time. I hope this was a source of encouragement for the family.
