Glenda Jean McGee was born to the late George and Henrietta Hill. She was a devoted mother, born on February 27, 1961. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing spades.
She professed her life to Christ at an early age and joined New Salem M.B. Church. She later joined Morning Star Baptist Church where she shortly served as an usher.

She leaves to cherish her memories forever: two daughters, Wanda McGee of New Albany, MS and Cassandra (Eric) McGee of Pontotoc, MS; two stepdaughters, Coneka (Eric) Ball of Blue Springs, MS and Tina McGee of Racine, WI; three brothers, Robert (Hattie) Hill, James Hill, Zack (Kathy) Hill all of Pontotoc, MS; a very special friend Jeffery Fields of Pontotoc, MS; two aunts, Irene Reed of Tupelo, MS and Jessie Hankins of Tupelo, MS; a special cousin Mary Jones of Tupelo, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Lee McGee, her parents George and Henrietta Hill, a daughter Roshell Holmes, a brother Charles Williams
