Funeral services for Bobby Smith, 76, will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 12:00 pm until service time. Masks and social distancing guide lines will be in place.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday at his residence. He was a mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing, nature and spending time with his grandchildren. He was very family oriented; filled with love and passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ruthie Hancock Smith; siblings, Ishmal Smith, Artie Gram, Jennilou Wells, Louise King, Edna Stewart, Erline Lanehart, and Ella Wisner; grandson, Anthony Laparrie and a great-granddaughter.
He is survivied by his wife, Easter Smith; son, Bobby Junior Smith (Tina) of Rienzi, MS; daughters, Donna Smith (Buddy) of Marksville, LA, Dorothy Decker (Matt) of Livonia, LA, Samantha Jackson (Otis) of Crosby, MS, Mary Smith (James) of Walnut, MS, and Lena Jackson (Steven) of Booneville, MS; brothers, Mack Smith and Jack Smith; grandchildren, Jayme, Jason, Jeremy, Thimothy, Christy, Tommie Sue, Mariellen, Cordillia, Crystal, McKenzi, Ashley, Chandler and 25 great-grandchildren.
