Arlene Fields Cox, 84, of Collierville, TN, died on February 12, 2021. She was born to the late C. H. "Pete" Fields and Wilma Nicholas Fields in Akron Ohio on November 9, 1936. She was a retired legal secretary and school librarian. She was a member of Germantown Baptist Church.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Ronald O. Fields. She leaves her husband of 65 years, Bob M. Cox; one daughter, Andrea Cox Davis (Joe) of Oxford, Ms, and two sons, Brian M. Cox (Stephanie) of Naples, FL and Barry M. Cox (Linda) of Olive Branch, MS, a sister, Carole J. Brown of Jackson, MS; and five grandchildren, Reese Davis, Bobbie Jo Davis, Jackson Cox, Nathan Cox and Alison Cox.

The visitation and funeral service will take place Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the Chapel at Calvert Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with the service starting at 2:00. Bro. Dale Funderburg will be officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home in West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Brian M. Cox, Barry M. Cox, Joseph P. Davis, Matthew R. Davis, Jackson C. Cox and Nathan M. Cox.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 794, West Point, MS 39773.
