Funeral service for Betty Gilmore Maness, 84, will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Clear Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Brad Dillingham will officiate the service. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.
Betty died on Sunday March 7, 2021 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Corinth on November 11, 1936 to the late Wid and Nora McCreary Gilmore. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Strickland Church of Christ. She enjoyed helping with the youth, going on church trips and shopping.
She is survived by her brothers, Troy Gilmore and Mac Gilmore (Sharon); sister-in-laws, Betty Gilmore, Betty Gilmore and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.C. Maness; brothers, Carroll, Johnny, Jerry, Terry and Jimmy Gilmore.
