Mr. Jerry Wayne Grose, 79, died at his home in Oxford, MS. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery in Oxford, MS. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until service time.

Born in Oxford, MS to the late Robert Frank and Annie Louise Watts Grose, Mr. Grose recently retired as a truck driver and equipment operator for Britt Mobile Homes. He worked so much, until retirement, that he didn’t have much time for hobbies but he did enjoy gardening, mowing and yard work. Jerry loved watching old western tv shows and movies. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Bishop; four brothers, William Grose, Elmer Grose, Robert Grose and Bennie Gross.

He is survived by his wife of almost 31 years, Bonnie Grose; three daughters, Connie, Karon and Wendy; son, Marvin; a step-daughter, Tina Clayton; two step-sons, Mike Clayton and Tracy Clayton; three sisters, Elizabeth Carr, Sue Mahan and Dorothy Harwell; three brothers, Sonny Grose, Dee Grose and Larry Grose; and two grandchildren, Justin Clayton and Brady White.
