Ricky Lynn Hood, 60, passed away in Monroe County on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1960 in Amory to Billy Ray Hood and Mary Ellen Pettigrew Wall. He attended Nettleton School. For many years, he ran his own construction business, later he worked at the United Furniture wood yard in Amory. Ricky was a true outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking for arrowheads and gardening.

He is survived by his father, Billy Ray Hood (Elizabeth Ann), Cason; daughters, Jasmine Cates (Cody), Amory and Rianna Hood, Myrtle; sons, Steven Hood, Becker, Joe Sintikakis (Kerry), Nettleton and Chris Sintikakis (Amber), Houston; brother, Ronnie Hood (Carla), Cason; grandchildren, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Kaiser, Haley, Jessie and Ethan Sintikakis, Emily Hood, Lilly Hood, Waylon Hood and Reed Steele; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Pettigrew Wall.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Green officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Andy Hood, Shane Hood, Greg Hood, Mike Hood, Jason Hood and Jay Holman.

Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 AM until the service hour at 11.
