Erie Holcomb, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Amory. Born on August 16, 1931, she was a daughter to James Pervy and Annie Novella Rawls Holcomb. She grew up in Greenwood Springs and was a 1951 graduate of Greenwood Springs High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years in the insurance industry as an adjuster and later for Jr. Food Mart in Aberdeen. Her hobbies included yard work and she loved taking care of her nieces and nephews. An excellent student of the Bible, she was also a member of Bartahatchie Baptist Church.
Private graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Jones Cemetery. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by special nieces and nephew, Jordan Todd, Ashley Holcomb, and Jacob Holcomb and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 14 siblings; and nephews, Tim, Jimmy, and Ken Holcomb.
