Martha Sue Sides York, age 80, passed away on April 3, 2021 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. Martha was a retired hairdresser. She always loved others, a loving mother, great grand mother, and great great grand mother, a peace maker that loved her Jesus, a pianist for her church, loved her toy poodles, a never say no person to all, a devoted caregiver, loved her spider lilies, and often decorated homes.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 6 at Friendship Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. The visitation will be from 10 – 11 at Friendship. Burial will follow in the McClelland Cemetery. The services will be conducted by Wade Stephens and Justin Hunt.
Sue is survived by daughter, Robin Miller and her husband, Charles of Starkville, Carla Miller of Columbus, Debbie Bailey and her husband Mike of Columbus; brother Raymond Sides, jr. and his wife Shelba of Petal; 6 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; son-in- law, Andy Miller; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Eugene Sides and Mary Frances White Sides; daughter Sherry Miller, and grandson, Kevin Brandon Mason.
