Mr. David Robert Calderwood, 29, died at his home in Oxford, MS. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Medford, OR, David proudly served as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force. During the time he lived in California, he was a member of 4H and pursued a career in acting. He was cast in several TV commercials and enjoyed gaining experience in the industry. David was an exceptional athlete and was competitive in recreational football with friends. He was a passionate Lakers and Raiders fan and was most at peace watching sports on the weekends with friends, barbecuing and playing with his dogs.
David is survived by his wife, Sara Marie Montoya Calderwood of Buena Park, CA; his mother, Dana Ehman of Palm Springs, CA; his father, Martin Calderwood and his wife, Mary of Oxford; a sister, Kathryn Rose Calderwood of Oxford; a step-sister, Lauren Brewer of Oxford; a brother, Daniel Martin Calderwood and his wife, Alex of Sturgis, SD; two step brothers, Riki Paul Matsufuji Johnson of Atlantic Highlands, NJ and Kelly Johnson of Pensacola, FL.
