James Carl (Jim) Weathers, Jr. passed away on April 4, 2021. Jim was born in Albany, Georgia on September 19, 1944, to Myrtis E. Francis and James Carl (Carl) Weathers, Sr.
He is survived by:
-His daughter, Andrea A. Weathers (Tim) and grandchildren Will (Reagan) and Piper. Also, great grandchildren, Emma and Kannon.
-His son, James Carl (JC) Weathers, III (Samantha) and grandchildren Lila, Anna, Caleb, and Nora Grace.
-His sister, Frances W. Droste and her son, Robert (Chelsi) and grandson Archer.
Preceding him in death were his parents Myrtis and Carl Weathers.
Calvert Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
I’m so sorry to have discovered Jim’s passing. I worked for him in Florida for a couple of years and helped him pack up to move back to West Point. He was a handful at times, but was very good to me. He reminded me of my father in many ways. I wish the family my heartfelt sympathy for their loss. RIP My friend.
