West Point, MS – Rebekah Marie Williamson went home to the Lord on Friday, April 09, 2021. She leaves behind two children, family and friends that miss her dearly and look forward to seeing her again one day.

Rebekah was a native and resident of West Point, MS. She was born on March 29, 1986 and had a full life ahead of her. Rebekah’s two children, Emma and Peyton, were her joy and passion for life. She enjoyed taking Peyton to his Boy Scout meetings and watching his enthusiasm while playing baseball. Rebekah made many memories helping her daughter Emma prepare for pageants and watching her cheerleading, softball and basketball games. Her bold personality and caring heart will be missed by many. Rebekah grew up in a strong and loving Christian family and attended West Point Church of God and Free Praise and Worship Center.

Rebekah is survived by her children, Emma and Peyton Williamson and their father, Jesse Williamson; her parents, Randel and Freda Whitmire of West Point, MS; her sister, Brooke Hinton (Mark) of Tupelo, MS; her brother, Daniel Edwards (Ashley) of Nashville, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Dale Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Wilmeth, Kevin Edwards, Ben Langley, Dylan Dupont, William Pursley, and Jason Hargrove.

Visitation Services will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00am. Funeral Services will be immediately following visitation at 1:00pm from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel in West Point, MS with Pastor Al Stockton officiating and Pastor Wayne Mathis assisting. Burial services will follow at 4:30pm at Memorial Gardens in Indianola, MS.
