Ivory Joe Watkins SR, 68 of Tupelo, MS passed away quietly at his home on May 6, 2021. He was born to the late Jessie James Watkins and Lula Bell Jackson on September 15, 1952. He is survived by his daughters Tiffany Gibbs (Desmond) of Olive Branch, MS, and Angela Watkins of Tupelo, as well as sons Ivory Joe Watkins JR of OR, Eddie Watkins of Tupleo, and Micheal Cummings of Tupelo. Surviving sisters include Gloria Turner of Tupelo, Elnora Watkins of PA, Helen Watkins of IL, Eliza Watkins of OR, Peggy Watkins of OR, Annette Watkins of GA, Yvonne Watkins (Shafi) of MS, Sarah Ann Franklin (Maurice) of MS, and Pearlie Pearson (Samuel) of MS, along with his brothers Jessie Dewayne Watkins of MS, Jessie James JR of FL, Ronnie Watkins of MS, Temetrius Watkins of MS, Willie Ben Watkins of MS, and Gene A. Watkins (Michelle) of GA. Ivory also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous other beloved family and friends. Ivory was preceded by his above mentioned parents, his sister Martha Alexander, twin brothers Andrew and Earnest Watkins and a son Darryl Watkins .
