Celebration of Life Service for Dinah Jean Kinkennon, 72, is set for for 3:00 pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Gardens. Family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Sunday from 1:00 to service time at the funeral home.

Dinah died May 13, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born September 1, 1948 in Alcorn Co. to the late Orville and Eura Bivens. She was of the Methodist faith. Dinah retired from ITT after over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, going to yard sales and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Orville Bivens Jr., John Bivens, and James Lee Bivens; sister, Mary Frances Taylor; nephews, Kerry Lee Bivens and Jimbo Bivens; and niece, Pam Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Skip Kinkennon; son, Trey Kinkennon (Julie); daughter, Michelle Byrd (Harry Montgomery); brothers, Jerry Bivens (Barbara) and Lloyd Bivens (Cheryl); sisters, Brenda Thomas (Jimmy) and Carolyn Scott (Eddie); sister-in-laws, Mary Alice Bivens, Hazel Bivens and Janet Bivens; grandchildren, Lance ‘Patrick” Campbell, Justin Byrd (Chelsea), Tanner Byrd, Icelynn Kinkennon and Myles Kinkennon; great grandchildren, Hayden Byrd, Hunter Byrd, Dani Kole Byrd; and a host of other family and friends.
