Celebration of Life service for John Stuart Sellers, 38, is set for 3:00 Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Funeral with Dr. Don Elliot and Rev. Waring Porter officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 to service time.

Stuart died May 15, 2021. He was born September 13, 1982 in Memphis, TN to Marty and Phyllis Sellers. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was a 2001 graduate of Corinth High School and attended Itawamba Community College on a soccer scholarship. Stuart was employed with Cognizant. He enjoyed sports, was an avid Braves fan but most of all he enjoyed his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kelsey and Nell Hooker; paternal grandparents, Ted and Margie Sellers; and an aunt, Vicki Sellers.

He is survived by his son, Cort Sellers; daughter Bella Sellers; parents, Marty and Phyllis Hooker Sellers; sister, Loren S. Akin (Jim); nieces, Kelsey, Alice Bea and Jane Akin; an aunt, Jeri S. Mayo; and a host of other family and friends.
