William Arlis Wheeler

William Arlis Wheeler (92) passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. He served in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Booneville Masonic Lodge #305, the Scottish Rite, the York Rite and KYCH. He enjoyed going to the coffee shops, watching westerns and talking on his ham radio. 

Services are 2 pm Thursday, May 20, 2021 at First Pentecostal Church in Booneville with Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in the Cain's Chapel Cemetery.

Arlis is survived by his son, William Guy Wheeler of Garland, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Lelia Wheeler; his sister, Anistean Hisaw and his niece, Jimmie Ann Lambert.

Pallbearers are members of the Masons.
