Celebration of Life Service for Rita June Tate Ragan, 69, are set for 11:00 am Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Bostick officiating. Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to service time.

Rita died May 18, 2021 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1951 to the late Winford and Dorothy Tate. She was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School. For over 40 years she has been in the banking business as a teller for BancorpSouth and most recently at FMBank. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, going to beach, but most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Smith Gray; granddaughter, Lexy Gray; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Scotty Ragan; daughters, Kimberly Smith and Oaklea Kyle Ragan; grandchildren, Ally Clausel (Alan), Saylor Gray, Greenlea Lipford, Tate Rogers, and Lennon Bush; and a great granddaughter, Lennox Kate Clausel.
