Bernard Scott (82) passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He attended Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, watching New Site basketball and spending time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 31, 2021 at Martin Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. David Harper officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Scott of Marietta; his daughter, Cristy Morgan (Brad) of Marietta; his son, Bruce Scott (Lori) of New Site; his grandchildren, Brandon Scott (Haley), Brett Morgan (Lauren), Brinten Morgan, Blake Scott (Alli), Bryson Scott (Cori), Bryan Scott and Briley Scott and his great-grandchildren, Aubree Scott, Mikenlee Scott and Brandi Scott.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Mary Scott; his dad, Otis Scott; his mother-in-law, Coraene Rogers and his father-in-law, Bolivar Rogers.
His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Hello, I am deeply sorry for your loss and would like to share a scripture with you. The scripture is found at Acts 24:15. Here the Bible speaks of a promise has made to bring loved ones, who have passed, back to life on the earth. Yes, we will be able to see our lived ones again on the earth. Many look forward to the fulfillment of this promise, and find it comforting to know they will be able to see their loved ones again. I hope this message brings the family comfort during this difficult time.
