Vara Beatrice Taylor, 97, of Booneville passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Gaston Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, working in her flowers and babysitting.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at McMillan Funeral home with Bro. Justin Wade and Bro. David Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Carolina United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Clarareece) Taylor of Corinth; her daughter, Donna Frederick of Booneville; her grandchildren, Teresa (Roger) Wade, Eddie (Dedra) Frederick, Tommy (Shannon) Frederick, Jamie (Chrystal) Taylor, Jeremy (Tammy) Taylor, Spence Taylor and Kristy Taylor; 19 great grandchildren; 21 great great-grandchildren; her sisters, Wanda Smith of Booneville, Barbara Borden of Booneville; her sister-in-law, Louise Johnson of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Adell Johnson; her husband, Milton Taylor; son, Karry Taylor; sister, Miriam Riddle; brother, James Johnson; son-in-law, Jerry Frederick; brother-in-laws, Darryl Smith, Bobby Borden and Travis Riddle.
