Mrs. Dian Miller, 65, transitioned on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

DIAN MOSLEY MILLER was born on June 27, 1956, to the late Fred Mosley, Sr., and Emma Grace Rogers Mosley.  She transitioned this life on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

DIAN accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. New Hope Missionary Baptist Church; she attended Armstrong Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, MS.

DIAN was a graduate of Oxford High School class of 1974; shortly after high school she married James (Cookie) Miller.

DIAN was united in holy matrimony to James (Cookie) Miller on August 6, 1974, and to this union three daughters were born: Shannon Miller, Angelia Miller, and Rosalyn Miller.  Dian loved planting and maintaining her flowers and she never met a stranger; she was a doting mother, grandmother, and friend to all she encountered.  She loved her family, and friends, and she will be missed by all who loved her.

DIAN leaves to cherish her memories, her husband James (Cookie) Miller of Columbus, MS; three daughters, Shannon Miller, Angela Miller and Rosalyn Miller all of Columbus, MS; four grandchildren, Erin Miller, Ashlie Miller, Xavier Miller and Wesley Miller all of Columbus, MS; two brothers, Fred (Baretta) Mosley of Oxford, MS and Lewis (Faye) Mosley of Flint, MI;  two sisters, Birtha Howard and Bonnie (Ulysses) Henderson of Oxford, MS; brother-in-law, Thomas A. (Cynthia) Parham Jr., and a sister-in-law, Joyce Parham all of Oxford, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

DIAN was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Gwendolyn Ann Boone, nephew James (Red) Mosley, niece Sharon Wortham, mother-in-law Rosie (Tiny) Miller Blake, brother-in-law Larry (Peo) Miller, sisters-in-law Betty Parham and Ester Lee, brother-in-law Andrew Parham.

Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11a.m., at Oxford Memorial Gardens. Serenity-Burney Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Burney Funeral Home Chapel.
