Winnifred S. Ellis passed away Monday July 19, 2021 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 71. She was born February 6, 1950 in Atlanta, GA to the late Lester Wilson and Roy Eugene Steinhauer. She was office manager for the West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter for many years.
She is survived by her husband Ricky Ellis of West Point; daughter, Beth Henry (Jim) of Southaven; brother, Cliff Steinhauer of FL; sister; Mary Anne Hudson of FL; 2 grandchildren, Grayson Henry and Reese Henry; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life with family and friends will be 2 PM September 4, 2021 at Christ United Methodist Church.
