Larry Darnell Hope

Mr. Larry Darnell Hope, 60, transitioned on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his residence in Byhalia, MS.

LARRY DARNELL HOPE was born to Lorine Hope and the late Lester Hope, Sr. on August 15, 1960, in Marshall County, MS.  He worked at Wood Supply in Watson, MS for over 40 plus years, until his health failed.  He departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at his home in Byhalia,  MS.   LARRY will be deeply missed by the community.

LARRY DARNELL HOPE, AKA “Bullwhoopa Shine” leaves to cherish his memories, a wonderful mother, Lorine Hope of Byhalia, MS; four children: Ashley Hope, Kevin Harden, and Larry Hope Jr. all of Byhalia, MS; one son: Marvin Harden, preceding him in death; he was blessed with five grandchildren; five siblings: Laverne (Harry) Crutcher, Betty Myles, Willie Pearl Smith, Lester Hope Jr. and Bradley (Elvira) Hope all of Byhalia, MS; two brothers, Gary Hope, George Hope, and two sisters, Sally Dixon and Dorothy Jean Smith all preceding him in death; a special friend, Latonya Mosley of Tate County; very close friends, Melvin Sykes, Kenny Hibbler, Walter Earl Martin and Oscar Lee Martin all of Byhalia, MS; a special great-great niece and nephew Karlie Marie and Markavious Turner Jr.;  a special aunt who preceded him in death,  Dorothy Stinson, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memories.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 11:30a.m., at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from  4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
