Matthew Spence Parrish, 37, died Monday, July 26, 2021, at his home in Olive Branch, MS. The funeral service will be Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Parrish officiating. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cambridge Cemetery.  

Matthew was born on May 8, 1984, in Memphis, TN. He was a talented musician and found great joy in playing guitar. He attended Ole Miss and developed a love for all things Rebel before graduating with his BA. His love for Rebel sports was only rivaled by his Memphis Grizzlies. Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Spence Parrish.  

He is survived by his father and step mother, Johnny and Laura Parrish of Southaven, MS; four step-brothers, Timothy Yarbrough of Robinsonville, MS, Justin Yarbrough and his wife, Katrina of Newbern, TN, Jonathan Yarbrough and his wife, Katie of Roseville, MI and Christopher Yarbrough of Ripley, TN.
