Mr. Billy Charles Doss, 65, transitioned on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS. 
Billy Charles Doss was born March 29, 1956  to Charles Robert Doss and Bobbie Jean Jones Doss in Turrell Arkansas. He departed this life August 6, 2021. He attended school in the Turrell public school system. Billy was a retired Truck Driver. 
His favorite pastimes were fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; Tony Ann Doss of Blue Mountain, MS, his daughters; Elizabeth Hughes (Chris) of New Albany, MS,  Bobbie Doss and Dena (Stephen) Thomas of Blue Mountain, MS, sons; Toby Doss  of Blue Mountain, MS and Joe Doss of Houlka, MS, thirteen grandchildren, two brothers; Bob Doss (Violet) and Brad Doss (Linda) both of New Albany, MS, his step-father; Joe Dale Thompson, step-brothers; Terry Thompson, Carol Thompson, Roger Thompson and Rob Thompson, step-sisters; Kay Raney and Barbara Ann Weather all of New Albany, MS and many other relatives and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his mother: Bobbie Jean Doss Thompson and his sister; Judy Chappelle and brother; John Doss.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2p.m., at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Martintown Cemetery in Ingomar, MS. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 11a.m., until service time at the funeral home.
