Mr. Gant died Friday, August 13, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth. He was a Mason and graduate of Kossuth High School. He enjoyed gardening his fresh tomatoes and was an avid fisherman. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Gant was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Charlie Gant and wife Gertrude Rickman Gant; his beloved wife, Brenda Gant; and one son Mr. Roy Gant.
He was survived by his two sons, Mr. Chris Gant (Sherry) and Mr. Toby Gant (Sunshine); one brother Mr. Donnie Gant (Charlotte); three sisters, Ms. Peggy Wilbanks, Mrs. Glenda Peters (Donnie), and Mrs. Judy Steed (Clark); eight grandchildren, Dustin Gant, Hayden Gant, Baley Medlin, Bryson Gant, Sadie Grace Gant, Emily Gant, Evan Gant, and Tyler Brown; one great grandchild, Skyla Brown; special friends, Phil Lee, Jose Ruiz, Ray Florez, Jose Ruiz, Jr. and a host of other family and friends that he cherished dearly.
