FULTON Dale Thornton, 83, passed peacefully at her residence on Wednesday August 18th. She was born June 27, 1938 to Byron & Frances Singleton. She is survived by her children, Teresa Thornton Davis ( Steve) of Savannah, GA, Mark Thornton (Rachel) of Fulton, MS. She has 10 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grand-Children. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Junius Bronson (JB) Thornton, and one sister Gerry Singleton. Associated Family Funeral is honored to serve this family in their time of need. I loved your mom very much. She and I had a long friendship. She once told me I was the best friend she ever had. So sorry, but she is now at ease and not suffering.

Dear Thornton Family, I am sorry for your loss and you have my deepest sympathy. The loss of a loved one brings great pain and sorrow but you can have comfort from Gods word the Bible.
Acts 24:15 says “There is going to be a resurrection” so you can see your dear loved one again. And this is a promise from our loving Heavenly Father. I hope this was a source of encouragement to the family.
