Funeral service for Ruthie Roach Goode Fleming, 88, is set for 1:00 pm Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. Mickey Trammel officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 pm to service time. Burial will follow in Magnolia Gardens.

Ruthie died August 23, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 3, 1933 in McNairy Co. TN to the late R. Boyd and Velma Roach. She was a homemaker and a member of Tate Baptist Church. She moved back to Corinth in 1978 with her late first husband Vernon from Chicago, IL, that is where he worked and they raised her children. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Goode; son, Richard Goode; parents; brother, Don Roach (Linda Faye); sisters, Hortense Sims (David) and Carlean Harvey (Elbert); and brother-in-law, Bill Petty.

She is survived by her husband, David Fleming; sons, Ron Goode (Teri) and Doug Goode (Sharon); daughter, Sandra Wolfe; brother, Danny Roach (Brenda); sister, Linda Petty; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
