Mrs. Wanda Byrd Hamlin, 73, passed away on September 4, 2021 at Oak Tree Manor in Amory. Wanda was born on January 18, 1948, in West Point, the daughter of the late John Glenn and Lois Busbin Byrd. Wanda worked as a Municipal Court Clerk for the City of West Point for many years. She was a loving person and she loved her family. She enjoyed growing roses, boating, and fishing. She was a member of West End Baptist Church in West Point. She married William "Billy" Hamlin, Jr. on June 12, 1982 in West Point and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2012.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Keeton officiating and assisted by Mr. Andy Riley. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Riley (Andy) of West Point: two sons, Alan Easter (Sha) of Becker and Jason Easter of West Point: ten grandchildren; Caleb Easter, Danielle Riley, Zachery Easter, Katie Acker (Kevin), Lacy Funderburg (Josh), Drake Riley (Emily), Drew Riley, Madi Easter, Marli Easter and Morgan Simpson (Jason): eleven great-grandchildren and a sister, Glenda Colbert of West Point.

Pallbearers will be Drake Riley, Drew Riley, Josh Funderburg, Caleb Easter, Zack Easter, and Kevin Acker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Andy Riley, Greg Colbert, Jerry Burns, and Bill Ladd.
