Donna Beth Cox, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, TN. She was born May 17, 1953 to Lonnie and Frances Franks. Donna was a graduate of Pontotoc High School and worked at a staffing agency before her health failed. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Private Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Rev. Joe Shelton officiating, a private family graveside service will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Billy Joe Cox; daughter, Amy Coursey of Avon, IN; three sons, Chris Cox of Baytown, TX, Jeff Cox of Thaxton, MS and Jason Thorn of Jackson, MS; one sister, Patti Shempert of Pontotoc, MS and a brother, Mitch Franks; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bruce Franks and Mike Franks.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time Friday at the funeral home.
