Nettleton – Richard Martin, 64, passed away at his residence in Nettleton on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 1, 1957 to the late Irving Howard Martin and Bernice Cole George Martin.
Richard worked as a truck driver for Tyson's food company. He was blessed with a daughter, whom he loved dearly.
At this time, there are no funeral services planned.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather Holliday, Hamilton, AL; grandchild, Tristen Holliday, Tuscaloosa, AL; a host of nieces and nephews; special friend, Betty Lou Cavender Walls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Olivia Holliday; a half sister, Helen George Deal; and half brother, Anderson George, Jr.

i am so blessed to have gotten to call this man my grandfather. there wasn’t a better example of a man than him. i will forever keep him very close to my heart. i miss you more than words will ever began to explain, but i know your flying high up there. your imprint you left on my heart will always remain there. i love you pawpaw!
