Mrs. Gladys Harmon Davis, 91, passed away on September 17, 2021 at her residence in the Waddell Community of Cedar Bluff. Gladys was born on August 13, 1930, in Chickasaw County, the daughter of the late Milton and Josephine Elizabeth Harmon. Gladys was a native of Clay County and was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church. She married Raymond Davis on November 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death on Jannuary 19, 2004.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Benny Davis and eight siblings.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. from Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff with Bro. Jason Middleton officiating and assisted by Mr. John Bauer and Bro. Karl Novak. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Kenny Davis (Pat) of Miramar Beach, Florida: four grandchildren; Tracy Wysack (Ben) of Niceville, Florida, Grant Davis of Miramar Beach, Florida, Tawana Bauer (John) of West Point and Ben Davis (Lindsey) of West Point: four great-grandchildren, Lola, Eliza, and Alec Wysack of Niceville, Florida and Kaylee and John Tyler Bauer of West Point; and a brother, Buck Harmon (Ann).
Pallbearers will be Mike Colbert, Eddie Harpole, Bill Cox, Walter Davis, Lynn Davis, and Grant Davis.
