Tim Campbell

1966 – 2021

Timothy Richard Campbell known as ‘Tim’ passed away September 20, 2021 at Rush Specialty Hospital at the age of 55. He was born January 4, 1966 in West Point to Marguerite South Campbell and the late Eugene Campbell. He was a graduate of the MS Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy in Pearl, MS and served as a police officer for the West Point Police Department for 26 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was an avid Alabama fan.

He is survived by his wife, Kristen Campbell of West Point; son Zack Campbell of West Point; daughters, Samantha Campbell (Bryan) of Bethel Springs, TN, Anna Meisenholder (Will) of West Point; mother, Marguerite ‘Cricket’ Campbell of West Point; aunt, Lucille South of West Point; uncle, John Campbell (Maryann) of Davenport, Iowa; great aunt, Alice Coburn of West Point; father and Mother-in-law, Merle and Virgi Koehn of West Point; brother-in-law, Brian Koehn (Kay) of Prairie; sister-in-law, Juli Buller of Galva, KS; a grandchild, Logan.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Andrew Campbell; grandparents, Wendell and Bertha South; uncles, Jimmy Coburn, and Richard South.

A memorial services will be 3 PM Saturday September 25, 2021 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Eric Ross officiating. Visitation will be 2-3 PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers are the staff at Rush Specialty Hospital, NMMC-West Point ICU, staff and members of the liars table at Tin Lizzie Café, Monty Yates, Anthony Price, Jose Garcia, Mitchell Smith, Thomas Robinson, Dominic Borgioloi, Brandon Clardy, Jake Donahoo, Aiden McLain, Michael Bridges, Terry Williams, Randy Williams, Dr. Janee Steele, Vickie Chatham.
