TUPELO – Susan Mitchell died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her residence in Tupelo. She was 63. She was born September 17, 1958 in Pontotoc County to Leon Kyle Weatherly and Dorothy Lee Grones Weatherly. She was a graduate of Pontotoc High School and worked in the furniture industry.

She is survived by her brothers, Pete Weatherly (Dora) of Furrs Community, and Don Weatherly of Tupelo; and sister Vivian Payne (Cecil) of Palmetto; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Dorothy Weatherly; and a step-son, Blake Mitchell;
