Mr. James Harold “Jamie” Henry, 77, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his home in Oakland, TN.  The funeral service will be Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Stonestreet officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:30 P.M.  Burial will follow at Kingdom Cemetery.

Born in Oxford, MS to the late Harold and Ruby Wright Henry, Mr. Henry was an avid Ole Miss fan.  He built his business, Jamie’s Welding and Trailor Sales, from the ground up.  A natural outdoorsman, he was passionate about hunting and fishing.  Mr. Henry is remembered as a family man, who treasured every moment spent with his loved ones.

Mr. Henry is survived by a daughter, Tina Marie Henry Corliss and her husband, Christopher of Cordova, TN; three sisters, Carolyn Henry Simmons of Oxford, MS, Ann Henry Beard of Water Valley, MS; and Brenda Henry Joyner of Dyersburg, TN; three brothers, Lewis Henry of Oxford, MS, Rickey Henry of Oxford, MS, and Randy Henry of Memphis, TN; as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
