Joe (JoJo) Hendrix Coleman, 83, of Corinth, MS passed away the 29th of October 2021, surrounded by his loving family. There will not be any memorial services.
He was born October 25, 1938 in Corinth, MS to the late LW (Bubba) Coleman and Willie Rea Coleman. Joe was a 1957 Corinth High School graduate. He was a Mississippi State Alumni and was a very Avid MSU fan. You would NEVER catch him without him proudly wearing his Mississippi State Ball Cap.
Following college, he was a teacher and coach for many years. Many may also remember his smiling face from the sporting goods department at Walmart.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn Jean Coleman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Michael Kevin Coleman (Tina); daughter, Amanda Rea Mitchell; grandchildren, Annalese Burns (Clay), Cortney Wilbanks, Margie Coleman, Clint Coleman, Mary Holcomb (Dusty), and Jim Deaton; great grandchildren, Teagan Holcomb, Dayton Burns, Darby Burns, and Conley Jo; and many, many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home at 613 Bunch Street, Corinth, MS.
